Went to visit Ari before heading down to Patagonia. We gate-crashed Cami's (Ari's) daughter's 11th birthday and stayed with Ari. Homemade empanadas from Su, Ari's mum, the first evening, then the next day our first parrillada - essentially just a HUGE amount of meat. We also traded our dollars in a "cueva" (cave) into pesos - the government artificially fixes the rate and so to get a better exchange rate you need to use western union or change in dodgy cuevas.Read more
