LEJOG Day 18 - Penrith to Lockerbie

Chilly 5° start - and discovery (again) of 2 flat tyres for the boys😟. Girls not happy!

Head wind started to pick up mid morning but we rolled along fairly well. In one section, if we took the 'downs' at a reasonable pace, the momentum would almost get us up the next roller.

Fab toasties for lunch at the Woodside Welcome Cycle Cafe near Dalston. Then onwards towards the border!!

Yes... we are now in Scotland - cycled through Gretna (no quickie marriages to be seen). But the roads have detiorated- very rough last 30kms.

Big day today - we are all very tired.
