G'day to WA

We woke up at Koonalda station to a stunning sunrise and for the first time a dry tent - what a luxury!

After breakfast and pack up we were on our way to the border and then first stop in Ceduna to see the old Telegraph station that was claimed by the moving sand dunes.

After this it was a loooong day of driving, including the 90 mile straight, before arriving at our stop for the night at a free camping spot at Fraser Range.

We drove up the back and found a beautiful spot surrounded by Norseman gimlet trees with rusty red bark, cooked some dinner and settled in for the night. We kept an ants nest at bay with some ash sprinkled around the outside of our tent. The stars were stunning again with a late moon rise.Meer informatie
