Waterfall Reef

From Cygnet Bay we also went on a boat tour to Waterfall Reef, a natural phenomenon where, due to the large tides and water that is trapped behind land formations, there is a constant flow of water over a platform reef as the tide drops, creating a long waterfall.

We were warned that the spray off the boat could make it a wet trip but we managed to stay dry until the last 5 minutes when we were soaked after the bow hit a couple of big waves.Читать далее
