Ardyaloon (One Arm Point)

One of the best experiences of our trip was visiting the Indigenous community at Ardyaloon and touring the local aquarium (converted from a trochus shell research station that was decommissioned and passed on to the local community) and coastline.

The country here was just stunning, the local people at the aquarium generously shared with us information about the local marine life in each of the tanks as well as their lives in Ardyaloon and history of the community.

After the aquarium we visited the boat ramp where lemon sharks swam up to us and then had a swim at the stunning visitors beach.Leggi altro
