Work day

Today was work! We did 62 miles. We did go into a diner just in time, typical of Florida's brief drenching rains that last less than 10 minutes but hit roof with thunderous noise with buckets of rain all at once. Everything in our bags stayed dry, and after lunch, we started off to Ponce de Leon. I was hoping to be revived with a fountain of youth but instead left the town with plenty of hills to make me feel I aged several years by the time we got to Defuniak Springs. This is a cute town with a nice little night of rest revives us. e park, but we were too exhausted to explore too much. We checked in and did our nightly washing of our bodies and clothes .
