Franz Josef to Wanaka

Woke up this morning to fog. No helicopter flight to Franz Josef Glacier
Bum! One of the major things I was looking forward to.Headed off to our next destination of Wanaka, a bit over 300km away. Trip wiggles around through mountains, coast, forest, lakes, etc. All the scenic stuff. The rivers and stream look so trouty but we only saw a couple of people fishing. If I came with Darren I would need a spray bottle to squirt him with every time he wanted to stop to fish a stream. There seems be a stream every 100m in some places. Bright, sunny n warm in Wanaka.
