Wellington Day Off

Day off from travelling today. Found out there is a Funicular railway still running and the station is right behind the hotel. How could we resist! Up the top is the botanic garden, a museum for the history of the funicular and a planetarium. Well that took a few hours to get through. Planetarium show was great but played havoc with my vertigo.
Lunch in a café that was part of a bookshop then veg in the hotel for a few hours.Read more
