Adriatic Sea, Dubrovnik

Below our hotel was the Adriatic Sea with its azure waters, palm trees and pebble beaches. There's no digging sand castles here, but people do stretch out on their towels on the gravel. We found that our feet sank into the pea sized pebbles making it hard to walk into the water. We waded into the sea up to our knees.
