Kauai, Hawaii

Our port at Maui got cancelled due to high winds that created dangerous docking conditions, but we did get to visit Kauai. We visited the Wemaia Canyon which is lush, green and amazing. Next we got to see the Spouting Horn, a lava tube that erupts in a spray of sea water when the waves crash into the shore. Legend says that a dragon type creature chased a warrior into the lava tube and got stuck there. The Spouting water is her frustration at being trapped there still.
After lunch we traveled to Fern Grotto by river boat. We were serenaded by a Hawaiian singer and entertained by a Hula dancer, both on the boat and at the grotto. And if course we saw some Hawaiian chickens everywhere we went.Baca lagi
