Pacific Islands Australia 2026

This port marks the end of our first cruise. While everyone else is disembarking, some of us gets to stay another week and cruise up the coast to Vancouver.
While others had a busy travel day, we walked a short distance over from our ship and visited the retired battleship, the Iowa. Here, we learned about the trips of this ship during WWII, to Africa, the Baltic Sea and even to Japan. A retired sailor gave us a presentation, complete with a detailed map showing all the voyages until the Iowa came to rest at LA.
We also learned of a tragic fire on board that killed 26 sailors, which was sad, and we met Vicky, a dog who lived on board, which was a happy story. It was a great day!Okumaya devam et
