Wet and wild

Well, it's a truly wet and wild day today. The bitter wind is gusting over 50mph, and the rain is icy cold.
So why not go to the northern most point to embrace the elements at The But of Lewis. We took care not to go close to the edge for fear of being blown into the boiling water below.
After a warming lunch in Ness overlooking the beach, we headed back towards the mountains and to our new home on the island of Bernera.
This afternoon, the weather changed every few minutes from howling storm to blue skies, ending with a lovely sunset.もっと詳しく
