Nara, Japan

We set off from Shinagawa station on our first Shinkansen (The Hikari) to Kyoto. Travelling at speeds of 175mph we reach Kyoto station in around 2:45mins, then at Kyoto station we switched to the JR Nara Line to Nara station. This took about 50mins nd we met Ben at the station. We had lunch at a ramen restaurant, I had Pork ramen with sticky rice, Ben had the same and Kate had a chicken broth ramen. We visited all the sights that we set out to see, the main two for us were obsvly the deer roaming in the park and the giant Todaiji. After leaving Nara me and Kate made our way back to Kyoto and booked into our hotel for the night.Read more
