Hello NOLA!

Grabbed a very quick (if not terrifying) taxi to the hotel and checked in! After getting my things unpacked I bravely decide I need to hit the town and find something to eat. I am very nervous at this point, I have no idea where I'm going, I have a vague idea of how to pay/tip, but more than that I need some food to settle my stomach from that plane ride, so I just play a bit of a left/right game.

So many people in Halloween fancy dress already! I finally stop at a sports bar who are still serving food at 9pm and I order shrimp and grits. This is exactly what I needed!!!!

Feeling much better, I ask the waiter where to go for some jazz and whiskey, and he suggests Frenchman Street, so that's where I shall go! Czytaj więcej
