Inverness

Had a nice relaxing Sunday in Inverness, walked around town, had a look at the castle, the older part of town, the churches and the cathedral.

Had a lovely lunch and then watched some of the runners come in, a few of them looked like they were doing it pretty tough. Big achievement to finish a marathon though so all credit to them.

Back to Blair's for a rest and then off for a drink at the oldest pub in Inverness, turned out they have a Sunday music session which was just starting as we turned up. Pretty good too, we enjoyed it even though we could only understand half of what he was singing. Enjoyed chatting to a few locals as well, everyone is very friendly.Read more
