Welcome to Candidasa

We were met at the Fastboat terminal by Buddy, a contact from our last trip to take us to Candidasa.
There had been an accident (Bus on fire) on the road earlier so we had to take a huge detour through small villages on narrow roads which slowed us down somewhat.
We arrived at Hotel Genggong, had lunch then walked into town to get supplies.
Had some peaceful pool time until after sunset then searched the local area for dinner.
We found the Sarira Restaurant in the Ariras Resort and it was spectacular.
I had the Balinese Chicken Curry and it was sublime.
We looked for a Spa after dinner but none were open so we retired to our rooms.Læs mere
