Evening flight. ADL to DPS

Our usual routine evening flight out.
Arrived at the airport just after 4pm, checked in our luggage and straight to Atura for drinks and dinner.

Breakfast at Risata then coffee at Nuka before Jenny had her injectables at Radiance.
Then Pool time......the pool at Risata was quite busy but we had a couple of lounges brought out for us.

Jimmy's Bar and Kori

Walked the beach front to Jimmy's and met up with the boys and Richard & Kendra. Stayed for the mandatory sunset then checked out R&Ks hotel at The Tuntrum, had a drink and chat then walked to KoriLĂ€s mer
Getting to Nusa Penida

Kadek picked us up from Risata and drove us to Sanur to catch a fast boat over to Nusa Penida.
On arrival, we found out that all of the boats from Sanur were cancelled due to a fatal accident thatLĂ€s mer
Chillin' on Penida

We checked in to The Sebali on Nusa Penida and were blown away with the resort.
Had lunch and drinks across the road, then drinks and a swim at R&Ks room where they have a pool in front of theirLĂ€s mer
Evening 1 on Penida

We walked the street to go to dinner at Secret Penida, then we all had a 1 hour leg massage on the way back to the resort.

Kelingking Beach

We had breakfast and then drove with Gede to Kelingking Beach, 45 minutes along narrow and sometimes bumpy roads.
The scenery is everything I imagined but somewhat tempered by the Glass ElevatorLĂ€s mer
Broken Beach and Angel's Billabong

After Kelingking Beach, Gede drove us to see Broken Beach and Angel's Billabong, both of which were pretty amazing. We saw a Mantaray and a Sea Turtle swimming close to shore.
More of Penida

We loved our first Penida experience. Two days wasn't long enough but at least we had a taste.
The Sebali - Nusa Penida

The Sebali on Nusa Penida is a new resort which opened in December 2024.
We couldn't fault it.
The rooms, the staff, the location, the food were all excellent.

Welcome to Candidasa

We were met at the Fastboat terminal by Buddy, a contact from our last trip to take us to Candidasa.
There had been an accident (Bus on fire) on the road earlier so we had to take a huge detourLĂ€s mer

Breakfast then a chilled morning.
Walked the main street to the Temple, coffee and donuts at Wacky Jacky's.
Drinks by the beach at Pandan Restaurant.
Lunch at Aquaria Hotel and Spa.

Vincent's Candidasa

Vincent's isn't just dinner, it's an experience.
The setting, the food, the service are all out of this World. 10/10.
Candidasa & Virgin Beach

We were picked up at Genggong Hotel at 10.30am by Komang for our drive to Amed.
On the way we stopped in at Virgin Beach for a look and a drink. đ»
Amed

Not a great start to our Amed stay as we realise that where we are staying (Vienna Beach Resort) is not what we expected.
We couldn't use the pool or restaurant as they allow people from outside theLĂ€s mer
Morning in Vienna Beach Resort

Woke in a better frame of mind knowing we were moving to The Seamount Hotel today.
A spectacular sunrise also helped kick-start the day.
We had a very nice breakfast at Vienna Beach then got pickedLĂ€s mer
Amed re-set

We checked in to Seamount Hotel at 10.30am but the rooms weren't ready until 2pm so we walked the street and did a bit of shopping.
Had drinks and lunch at Teatro Bar on the beach then went for a 1.5LĂ€s mer
Snorkelling in Amed

Last night at dinner, we booked a Snorkelling trip for this morning.
Jenny, Kendra and I went out at 9am while Richard went for a massage.
Amazing Amed

Went to the beach at 6am for sunrise. Didn't dissapoint.
Walk up the street to Mejore for coffee and back to Seamount for breakfast
Kendra, Jenny and I went for a snorkel, Richard went for aLĂ€s mer
Sunrise in Amed

Headed to the beach just after 6am to enjoy the sunrise. I intended to just sit and watch without taking photos but couldn't help myself.
Walked along to the point of the bay and strolled back addingLĂ€s mer
Taman Tirta Gangga

Stopped to look at the Water Garden at Tirta Gangga on the way back to Kuta.
Sababay Wines

Sababay Wines is such a great spot to sit either outside in the garden or inside their tasting room.
And their product holds up.
We had a serve of Nachos for lunch along with a tasting range.
Back to Kuta

Arrived back at Risata late afternoon, checked in, unpacked, changed some money and got down to Jimmy's Bar for drinks and sunset.
Richard went to the Brazilian BBQ for dinner. Jenny, Kendra and ILĂ€s mer
"Shoppin', Shoppin'....."

Jen started the day with a walk and I went to gym.
Breakfast at Nuka then we walked to Febri's with R&K for an hour leg massage.
From there, Made picked us up and we went made our way around to UDLĂ€s mer
Dinner and Cocktails

Had dinner at Nuka with Richard & Kendra. Afterwards, they had a massage across from Risata while Jenny and I had cocktails at Jepun Bar with Ardhana.
