To lake bled!

Our day started with our Airbnb host offering us traditional Slovenian plum liquor shots at 10:30am. After telling us all the benefits that having just 1 and only 1 shot per day can give you, he ignored our polite protests and we had 2 drinks 🙃 after that we caught a short (although not as short as Bailey's) bus to Bled! The lake is stunning and I am feeling very happy to be back out in nature, or at least more nature than most of the cities we have been in recently. We went for a swim in the rain and jumped off the Slovenian Olympic rowing course landings. The water is so fresh that none of us had any kind of buoyancy - the complete opposite of the Mediterranean in which I could float upright and keep my head above the water without moving. We got quite convincingly caught in the rain and sought refuge in a burger place for dinner before I crushed everyone at foosball 💪Läs mer
