We decided to head to malibu first thing. Most of the area from the santa monica side of malibu had been hit quite bad from the fire. Not much left of the houses along the beachfront, was a little ominous.
The pier along the front was still there and open for business, so we sat down for some brunch and watched the surfers.
Little walk through the park there, then a drive up the coast and into the mountains back to LA.
A fight through LA rush hour to the dodgers game in the evening. Seats were great with a great view of the game! Shame they lost in overtime.Read more
