旅行者Had no idea the world’s largest sand dune was there. Is there any history recorded about the intent of the large engravings in the ground? Were they meant to be seen from space And if so was it a deity kind of thing or was it potentially extraterrestrial focused?
旅行者We laugh and say that it was, but probably not. The lines point toward known important sites (e.g. the Cerro Blanco- the giant sand dune, the Cahuachi pyramid complex, etc ) and the archaeologists are pretty sure they have perfectly explainable purposes.
