Hiking and swimming - a day of contrasts

The 14 k hike was harder than anticipated and at 30 degrees very hot in places. The swim in the Blue Eyre pool was 5 degrees! Such a difference! As the photos testify I actually experienced the shock of swimming in such cold water. I've included a picture of our guide , Dorian who has been really supportive.
