Vibrant, lively but undeniably edgy in my opinion.
In the main square were some outstanding sculptures by Fernando Botero (1932- 2023), a Colombian artist and sculptor. His signature style, also known as "Boterismo", depicts people and figures in large, exaggerated volume, which can represent political criticism or humor, depending on the piece.
This May sees a Presidential election. If Colombia is to prevent a return to right-wing governance, which would present a major reversal in areas of peacebuilding and tackling inequality that have formed central pillars of the Petro government’s agenda then the parties of democracy must pull out all the stops!
