Cloudy Skies, and Sad Goodbyes

Soccer golf, speedway go-karts—just a day set aside for fun.
The cloud cover was a gift, letting us do things the sun wouldn’t normally allow.

It felt so good to move again after a few lazy days.
The very best way to spend our last day with Jesse and Mio… and to say goodbye.

Yes, there were tears.
He waved back, yelling, “I’ll see you tomorrow!!!”—not quite understanding that it was time for us to part ways.

That kid is special.
And so was our time together.

Leaving Koh Samui a little teary-eyed, and also looking forward to putting some steps on again with my husband.

The trip is starting to wind down, and the sighs feel deeper somehow.

Sitting at the pier now, about to board the speedboat ferry to Koh Phangan.
