Snow storm closes road to Yellowstone

We had snow overnight. Our tent and canopy were covered in ice and snow. It was miserable breaking down our campsite at Gros Ventre. We then learned the the snow storm had caused the south entrance to Yellowstone to be closed. We scrambled and were able to find a campsite at Colter Bay RV in Grand Teton NP where our friends Linda and Kevin are staying. We saw a Bison herd on the way there. Unfortunately, showers and lodge were closed. We drove to Signal Mountain for lunch and showers.Read more
