Yellowstone finally opens

We had more snow overnight 😣
South entrance to Yellowstone was still closed. If road did not open by 11am, when we had to checkout, we were going to cancel our Yellowstone leg of the trip. Fortunately, road was opened right at 11am. Before we left Colter Bay, we stopped at Jackson Lake lodge for lunch during their first day of operation for the season.
We stopped at West Thumb thermals on the shore of Yellowstone lake. Elk where grazing right by the boardwalks.Read more
