Exploration drive and Newberry Coldara

We were going to hike Green Lake, but rain changed our plans. We did a drive to explore the cascades. We went to Elk Lake lodge and talked with a nice couple that worked there, that were converting a school bus into a camper.
We eventually went to Newbury Coldara national park. I had never been there, but now plan to go back to camp there. We visited Paulina Lake lodge, looked at one of the campgrounds, hiked the Large Obsidian flow, drove to the top of Paulina Peak, and visited Paulina Falls.
That evening, we sat around the campfire with the owners of 2 T@B campers that were in the campground. Surprisingly, the couple that owned one of the T@Bs knew Kevin and Linda.Weiterlesen
