    Venturing out of my hotel, I found myself in Tai Kok Tsui district. The half-industrial half-residential is populated with old residential buildings, with many senior citizens as its residents. Blocks of high-rise residential buildings have been erected on the reclaimed area to the west, which marked the revitalization of the area with many restaurants and bars setting up shop.

    The district looks as if it comes straight out of John Woo movies. With a lot of people on their phone, merchants offer their stuff to people in the street, and mid-aged men laughing and chats in the local herbal tea shops, I found wondering this area somewhat satisfying. Especially with a camera in hand.
