First day in Camogli: beach and town

After breakfast we went to have a walk in the fishermen town of Camogli, named like this because “Ca”, means “home” and “mogli” means “wives” this is due to the fact that it was a fishermen village, the sailors were used to leave their homes to go fishing far away for a long time and so the town in that period was populated only by the wives.
It is a colorful town, filled with local shops and interesting food spots. After visiting Castel Dragone and the curch we went at the beach to swim and eat some typical FOCACCIA al FORMAGGIO! Focaccia with cheese😋.
From the sea you can see the beautiful and very close natural park of Portofino and the town’s sea walk which is beautiful to see.En savoir plus
