Great Sand Dune NP & Preserve

FR: Euuuhhhhh Ben....... Quoi dire ? Bref... Une grande dune de sable quoi. Bon ok, elle est au pied des montagnes enneigées, c'est quand même classe... Mais bon, durée de la visite : 1h en tout et pour tout, en comptant le déjeuner et l'attente du fait des travaux sur la route dans le parc.
Par contre, nous avons compris pourquoi les gens disent que le temps est extrêmement changeant au Colorado. En l’espace de 45 minutes, nous avons eu : une tempête de sable, de la pluie, de la neige, du brouillard et un vent chaud. Allez zou, on bouge de là !

EN : Well well well... How to put it ? Bottom line.. There is a damn big freakin' sand dune. Fine, ok, this dune is right at the bottom of mountain and yes, this is cool.... But still, we did not stay more than an our there, and this is because we had lunch and because there was road work going on inside the park slowering the traffic.
At least, we had the opportunity to understood why people keep saying that weather is unstable in Colorado. In about 45 minutes, we had a sand storm, rain, snow, fog and war wind. Ok fine, enough, let get out of here !Read more
