John Day Fossil Beds NM - Painted Hills

FR: "Painted Hills" (pour les francophones les plus anglophobes, comprendre "les collines peintes"), est-il vraiment nécessaire d'expliquer pourquoi un tel nom ? Cet endroit est une explosion de couleurs et de contrastes, un joyaux qui mérite largement le détours. Nous sommes pourtant arrivés un peu blasés, pensant que les "Painted Hills" ne pourraient de toute façon pas concurrencer "Artist Palette" dans la Death Valley... nous avions tord, et c'est tant mieux.
