    Arriving at the ranch, we were able settled into our rooms before having a relaxing evening having a glass of wine and playing card games by a fire.
    The next day we were treated to a sleep in before our first farm job, milking the cow where we also had the opportunity to try fresh raw milk.
    The next job was unplanned, the sheep needed to be treated for medicine and needed to be directed to their pen, which was the easy part. Then we got asked if someone wanted to help catch the sheep, and I volunteered and must have impressed the farmers with my sheep wrangling as I was offered a bottle of wine for my efforts.
    After assisting with the sheep, we went to the kitchen to be shown how to make empanadas, the Uruguayan way. That afternoon we had the opportunity to go for a horse ride which except for the hordes of mosquitoes, was beautiful.
    The evening finished off with some music and relaxing by an outside bonfire.
    The next day, we had the opportunity to go for one more horse ride before we had to pack up and set off for Montevideo.
