La cite de Pierres

Cycled up the long uphill road to the city of stones. We didn't expect much, but we were blown away by the beauty of the structures, which were 170 million yrs shaped from water and wind. The natural site of 120 hectares overlooking the Gorges de la Dourbie. Did a 30-minute walk to a viewpoint, then walked back for a petit train ride with commentary in French.
