At port in normandy

Travelled to Saint Marie eglise in drizzle yesterday. Stopped twice and had our last french baguette & French pastries for now. The town, of course, is near to the Normandy beaches and full of museums and exhibitions. The Americans parachuted in, and one poor chap got caught on the church steeple. The germans were going to shoot him, but then realised he was on sacred ground and was saved.
Now, at cherbourg Port waiting to board with sea mist, so don't think we'll be on the deck it's a big chilli.Okumaya devam et
