Whangarei

My Scottish friend - Maddie - has got distant relatives in Whangarei, so we decided to go there together. Even though I just wanted to drop her off and go to my AirBnB, I was immediately invited to dinner and to join in the activities planned for the next day. So off we went. First, we had a ride through Whangarei and ended up at a looking point which gave us a great view of the town and its surroundings. We drove on to check out Whangarei Falls. It was stunning.
