Wellington again!

After one more night in Nelson (more matcha and sushi! 😋), and with a hitchhiker in the back, we all drove to Picton. There, Sylvain hitchhiked on to Blenheim, while Shuan and I took the ferry back to Wellington. We went to the same gelato place I had been to with Maddie a few weeks earlier — and that’s when I saw it: they had an 8-flavour special! So, the next morning after breakfast, I rewarded myself with way too much ice cream, because my stomach had triumphed over its urge to defy gravity on the ferry.
