Sunset by the River

Vang Vieng isn’t really big - most commonly known for its hot air balloons, which were decidedly too expensive for me, unfortunately. And a few lagoons. Which I didn’t get to see either.

Instead, I explored a few shops - there’s really not even a decent one there to browse - and eventually walked to the riverside where I sat in a restaurant which offered great views of said river and the setting sun behind the karst mountains.Read more
