Roadtrip Maleny

We made our way back to Brisbane after the wonderful relaxing week at Rainbow beach. Me and Roedolf decided to take the scenic route through the glasshouse mountains to Maleny. We got really excited when we spotted a South african shop, needless to say we got carried away, bought Roodeberg, Chutney Simba chips, Fizzers and a huge stash of biltong and droëwors.

We had lunch at a cute little spot in Maleny. We hiked a small loop in the Mary Cairns-cross scenic reserve and I was lucky enough to spot us a wallaby in the wild. There was also loads of nasty Aussie bats hanging in the trees. The rainforest was really lush and beautiful and it was great to do a unplanned hike.
