• 10th dive - Koh bon

    February 14, 2017 in Thailand ⋅ ⛅ 22 °C

4 dives at the famous Koh bon and still no manta rays. Disappointed but we did get to see the Maldivian sea spung snail more than once, this little sea slug is one of a kind and can only be found in the Maldives and at Koh bon so we are pretty lucky to have seen so many of them.

They are extremely weird slugs with no shell just a couple of soft blue bubbles on their backs.

Also I am fascinated by the Christmas tree worms that sit in little holes with half their bodies out that looks like little colorful Christmas trees and when ever anything comes close to then they pull back into their little holes.

I must say after 4 dives here I am not bored of this site and would easily do another 4 dives here if we had to.

Diving just have to be the ultimate nature exploration hobby as you literally emerge yourself into a different world. Not only do you get to be up close and personal with nature, you get to experience part of what its like to be a fish in this underwater world.
