Nakasendo Way-Tsumago

Forest bathing along the Nakasendo Way. At only 7.7km in length, it's a very mini version of the Camino, and a wonderful experience. We took a leisurely 4 hours to finish. In Tsumago, we enjoyed a tasty treat of black bean mochi, chestnut mochi (a local specialty), and a chestnut-filled dried persimmon tucked inside mochi, washed down with barley tea.
