    Leaving Evelyn’s onto Tracey’s

    March 10 in Australia ⋅ ⛅ 18 °C

Up early, Carlos took us for a walk in the bush… I thought it would take a half hour but after two and a half hours, Carlos led us back to his home exhausted 😂 It was amazing though… such a wide variety of vegetation with creeks almost empty (but gets full in the rainy season and can hardly be crossed) but what impressed me most was the noise of the bird life. Just about caught a cockatoo on camera. Amazing.

When we got home, Adrian, Evelyn’s son, and family were waiting for us. What a lovely family! Angelica, with children, Julianne and Marcus. Such chatter as they all spoke fast speaking in Spanish. After a late breakfast, we packed to head on to Tracey’s, Fran’s daughter. Though we thought we would have company… the children didn’t want to get out of our Crib 😊

A half an hour down the road into the city to Birkenhead Quays. Richard (Tracey’s husband) was waiting for us to steer us into the downstairs car park. Up to 9th floor and a view to behold of the city… you can just see the flags on top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge in the distance. Lots of catching up as in every McPherson family we’ve stopped with. 😀🥰

I opened Abbie’s card she gave me for Mother’s Day (well, it was back home in Ireland, not here) and placed on the kitchen partition for all to see. Mustn’t forget to pack it when we leave 😄

Early to bed for me at 6pm (!)… jet lag continues to arrest me 🙄 while George talked on with Richard and Tracey.
