Heading to Namibia

Had a detour to Tsodilo Hills - 3000+ year old Rock art and a UNESCO world heritage site. It was amazing, the highest point in Botswana (which is otherwise very flat) at 1395m- it’s a spiritual place (felt a bit like Uluru in Australia) - On the 2.5hr ‘Rhino Trail’ we got to see many paintings including the famous Laurens van der Post panel of antelope and giraffe that are depicted on the Botswana Pula currency notes. Next a speedy drive to cross the Namibian border and made it to RiverDance lodge by 18:00 to see yet another gorgeous African sunset from our deck.
