Day six - the trek back to the entrance

We are up and we have slept! It’s early as we breakfast on porridge , eggs and sort of pancakes . We set off with coats on as it’s blowing a gale ! Some porters sing for Koreans ! Soon we take coats off as we are sheltered from wind! It’s a slog so I put on my music - first random song - joe strummer Yalla Yalla - very zen - lets go ! So 21km passes slowly Ivan and me out front and it’s a peaceful walk back to gate through the tropical forest and then it’s over . We lunch , we get Wi-fi , we get farewell singing from our porters, we tip and get to hotel. At hotel it’s a beer , a shower , a shave , a long bath and rest the feet ! We drink beer til dinner and it’s bed at 9! Strange dreams - and there is a weird devil like regular scream from outside - i am told it’s an odd cow but I think it’s my feet ! SleepLes mer
