Christmas in Kyoto

No KFC and no snow but still a very memorable day. We woke for the kids to open some presents and they had been busy organising a treasure hunt with riddles to solve to locate the presents,it was quite impressive. One thing that wasn't too impressive was the size of the beer that the kids had bought Kate and I. I decided we would head out to Fushimi Inari Taisha, a mountainside Shinto shrine dating from 711 A.D. featuring a path with hundreds of traditional gates.
