Lover's train and some cricket

Spent the first part of the day with some boxing day cricket whilst heading to a scenic area just outside of Kyoto in Arashiyama. We caught the Sagano (Romantic) train before heading down the Hozu-gawa River on a boat ride that has been operating for over 400 years. It was a great day getting out in the countryside and also visited the Arashiyama bamboo forest and Togetsu Bridge. For dinner we went to a great sushi train, but my quota for a certain nationality of tourists was full, so I enjoyed some solitude finishing the night with the BBL. Still with my tourist cup overflowing I spent the following day at home with some beers, test cricket , and a 7-11 dinner, which is better than it sounds.Læs mere
