Nha Trang

Leaving Da Lat came with some unusal heavy winds that actually got us freezing at some point but after a period of time we got used to it and enjoyed one hell of a ride trough the mountains.
Around 80km of curves with almost none traffic really was like a dream for me and the rest of the 70km to Nha Trang felt much shorter too.
Nha Trang is another, bigger City at the east coast but in comparison to Mui Ne, is very windy.
We booked in a nice hotel for two nights with view to the sea and parts of the outer city.
I spent the afternoon in my good old fashioned way of exploring new places:
walking trough the streets with an idea of a plan.
I did some shopping and found myself a new jacket (or whatever it is called in english) for colder days.
And for the style.
Honestly, I don't have to explain to you guys why I buy things that I buy.

Next day, Peter decided to watch the superbowl at a sportsbar in the morning and later on do some day drinking with the new friends he made there and I decided to do some sightseeing cause Im not into that kind of stuff.
Later, in the eveing I joined them at a rooftop bar and went to play a few rounds of billard before calling it a day.

Nha Trang? A nice city at the coastsite but honestly not much to see and therefore for me not really interesting but I did enjoyed the time here.

Die Abfahrt von Da Lat war von ungewöhnlich starkem Wind begleitet, der uns zeitweise richtig durchfrieren ließ.
Doch nach einer Weile gewöhnten wir uns daran und genossen eine fantastische Fahrt durch die Berge. Die rund 80 Kilometer kurvenreiche Strecke mit fast keinem Verkehr war für mich wie ein Traum, und die restlichen 70 Kilometer bis Nha Trang kamen mir viel kürzer vor.
Nha Trang ist eine weitere, größere Stadt an der Ostküste, aber im Vergleich zu Mui Ne sehr windig. Wir hatten ein schönes Hotel für zwei Nächte mit Blick aufs Meer und Teile der Stadt gebucht.
Den Nachmittag verbrachte ich auf meine altmodische Art, neue Orte zu erkunden:
Ich schlenderte planlos durch die Straßen.
Ich ging shoppen und kaufte mir eine neue Weste für kältere Tage.
Und natürlich auch, weil sie gut aussieht. Ehrlich gesagt, muss ich euch nicht erklären, warum ich Sachen kaufe, die ich kaufe.

Am nächsten Tag beschloss Peter, morgens den Super Bowl in einer Sportsbar anzuschauen und später mit seinen neugefundenen Freunden etwas trinken zu gehen.
Ich hingegen entschied mich für Sightseeing, da mir solche Aktivitäten nicht so liegen. Abends gesellte ich mich dann zu ihnen in eine Rooftop-Bar und wir spielten noch ein paar Runden Billard, bevor wir den Tag ausklingen ließen.

Nha Trang? Eine nette Stadt an der Küste, aber ehrlich gesagt nicht besonders sehenswert und daher für mich nicht wirklich interessant.
Trotzdem habe ich die Zeit dort genossen.Read more
