    July 30, 2025 in Malaysia ⋅ ☁️ 27 °C

After a good night sleep with ( air-conditioning ) we started the morning early next stop Bako National Park which is the oldest and smallest national park in Sarawak, Malaysia, established in 1957 and located near Kuching. It is a popular destination for wildlife viewing, known for its diverse ecosystems, including rainforests and coastlines, and is home to species like the proboscis monkey, silvered langur, and bearded pig. After ca 20-30 min we reach the park from Kuching via boat. Together with another family from Italy we followed our Tourguide. It was so beautiful but also so so hot 🔥🥵. We saw lots of wildlife which was very exciting as some were so close to us. Hannah got some thorns in her leg from a very prickly palm tree which was quite painful for her. After refreshing in the pool we visited the Food Festival. We were so lucky that it was on whilst we were visiting Kuching and it was absolutely wonderful and delicious.Read more
