    Tekapo and St Johns

    July 4, 2017 in New Zealand ⋅ ☀️ 15 °C

The next day we wake up in out cozy hostel, looking at the animals in their hutch. We drove up to St John's observatory for a view of the snowy landscape, a proper winter wonderland. We sneak in and grab a table at the restaurant and enjoy a brownie and hot chocolate. A walk along the ridge and we sit on a frozen bench admiring the view for longer.

Once night has fallen we go back out to the famous chapel so James can capture the starts coming out behind it. Reality has hit that the trip is winding down and our journey home is around the corner.
