N sat next to the pilot up front, Peter was in the middle back next to me at the window. We flew over extensive lava flows, still steaming here and there, all the way to the ‘new’ black sand beach. Then back inland toward the volcano where we flew over large and small fissures in the earths crust. All this with the volcano itself not far from view. Other sites: macadamia nut farm, a group of inland waterfalls along the ‘killer river’, lots of blue green ocean and bright blue skies.Leggi altro
