After a night of very 'Broken Sleep' 🛌 if at all 🛏 had an early start for the 'Broken Hill' off train excursion to Living Desert Sculpture Park before returning to the train for a breakfast of poached eggs and smoked salmon.

Kangaroos, Wedge Tailed Eagles and Emus at every turn and possibly another Wombat but this one couldn't be sure time and habitat made it questionable.

Reaching Adelaide at 3:15 in the afternoon we went by coach to the Coriole vinyard in the McLaren Vale for wine tasting 🥂and cheese🍪🧀 tasting too. Very nice.

The off train excursion was finished with a lovely meal at The Star of Greece a very nice restaurant on the coast with a beautiful view of the beach and ocean at Port Willunga

A better nights sleep 🛌and rose to a beatiful sunrise🌅 over a vast landscape. An early breakfast - full English and our first sightings of the day of Kangaroos and Emus. An ever-changing landscape gave us more Emus until we arrived at Cook on the Nullarbor Plain for a short stretch of the legs whilst the train took on water. We also had to fend off the army of flies 🐝 that were waiting for us here.

Treated ourselves to early afternoon reward for dealing with the flies. G&Ts .
Then after continuing along the plain, no camel 🐫sightings 😕, and crossing yet another time zone 🕟we arrived at Rawlinna to enjoy an evening meal under the stars by the light of a full moon 🌕 at this sheep shearing station.

Another early morning treated us to a lovely sunrise and the morning continued to show us how quick the scenery could change.
So last day aboard The Indian Pacific heading into downtown Perth where we hook up with Suzie later in the evening.

So back together with Suzie again for our Western Australian Adventure.

Failed Church excursion for Suzie and then a lovely walk back to the hotel via Kings Park Botanic Garden and Perth city centre.

Drove down from Perth to Bunker Bay today via a few stop offs.

Visited a Thrombolite Community at Clifton Lake and then a beer drinking community at Eagle Bay Brewery before arriving at our destination Pullman Resort Bunker Bay.

We took lunch on the way down at Bunbury.

Evening meal at resort Burger for B, Pasta for M and Haloumi for S.

The day started with dolphin sightings on our beach walk, a swim in the pool then after a hearty breakfast we set out on our tour of some of the Winerys in the Margaret River region.

Jemima our driver for the day delivered us to several winerys , one chocolatier, one cheese producer and a pisco distillery. Oh and one winery also made nougat too.

We took lunch, a meat sharing plate, a cheese sharing plate and some delicious pasta ...... to share, at Vasse Felix. All were delicious.

We returned to our resort pooped although one of us did manage a dip in the Indian ocean before we all just chilled/collapsed with pizza, chips n beer.

Early walk on the beach and another cracking sunrise and a waning moon.
Captured on camera one of the many species of colourful birds of WA. A Western Rossela.

We once again had hearty breakfast before we set off back to Perth.
Our first stop was at Yallingup (Yalling - love, up - place of) beautiful beach and scenery here.

Then we called in at the township of Margaret River. for coffee and a look at the river itself.

This before heading back proper to Perth with just a slight detour along a scenic drive route and then a brief toilet stop Hills Head just north of Mandhura.

We arrived back in Perth about 18:00. Finished the day off with a Thai meal in the restaurant across from the hotel. Wok and Ladle.

BYO, so a bottle of Chenin Blanc we bought in the Margaret River (Windance winery) was a good accompaniment to an excellent meal.

Today is the day we took a look at Fremantle stopping by at the Little Creatures Brewery first of all taking on some food and water...... I mean beer. With a sharing plate of beef brisket and fries then nipping next door for some beer tasting.

Eight o'clock start as we headed up to Hillary's Quay to catch Rottnest Fast Ferry to ....... Rottnest. Picking up our bikes before we boarded.

First stop Globe Cafe for fuel and Coffee fix before setting of on our bicycle tour of the Island. Beautiful beaches, clear blue sea and Quokkas, lots of Quokkas.

Today we parted company with Suzie😟 as she returned to Sydney but not before a Parkrun 🏃‍♂️for B and breakfast together around the corner from our hotel.

The rest of the day was spent walking, walking and more walking🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️. Taking in a few of the sights around Perth.
Give or take a Km or two - 22km for M🚶‍♀️and 🚶‍♂️22 + 5km Parkrun 🏃‍♂️for B (28:32)

We finished the day at a vegetarian Indian restaurant where you eat what you want and pay what you want the motto being Live, Love, Give.

Flight departs 2305 so a bit of a doldrum day ahead Happy and Sad. Looking forward 😀 to seeing Allen Pengelly trio 👨‍👩‍👧 but sad 😔 to be putting so much distance between us and Suzie🙎‍♀️.

Turn up for the books thought today was going to be a long day. Last day of holiday departing at 2305 but been pretty damn good. With Christy Moore songs and Slightly Musical cover Wagon Wheel ringing in our ears from last refreshment stop in Perth.

Late morning enjoyed a tour of Perth Mint and found out what our weights in pure gold were........ priceless.... before setting off early afternoon for another tour off Perth' waterfront and city sights.
