Grenoble

We spent the night in Grenoble as we make our way towards Nice and Monaco. Once again, this was a spectacular drive.

Grenoble was the venue for the 1968 winter Olympics. It was
heavily bombed by the Germans in WWII, so much of it has been rebuilt since the 1950's.

The park opposite our hotel had war memorials and also memorials for members of the French Resistance in WWII as well as French victims of the holocaust.Baca selengkapnya
